If love is the sickness, is there a cure? When broken hearts aren't the only thing at risk, how far will they go to protect her? How far will she go, to get what she feels she is owed? Exodus by Kate Stewart is book two in the Ravenhood Trilogy. We continue to learn more about Cecilia's story and the men who shaped her. Sean and Dom warned her about the wolf, and now the wolf has come to play. Kate takes you on a complete emotional roller coaster in this book. The setting remains mostly the same as we are still in Triple Falls, but the character growth is astonishing. Cecilia has an incredible character arc showing how she has learned and changed since her arrival. The plot itself shows the lengths that people will go to for love. When I say this book gutted me, I mean it. I cried so much reading this. Definitely have your tissues ready. I also completely understand why fans of this series warn people about book two. At least we get plenty of answers by the end. I would highly recommend this if you enjoyed book one, or if you were at least curious about getting some answers.
Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden were exquisite in their performances. The audio is incredible and I believe it adds so much emotional depth to the story.
