Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea
by Jules Verne
adventurous
mysterious
slow-paced
- An interesting read, I did enjoy it.
- Verne does however go into great detail when the characters are describing scientific jargon, such as the classification of various sea creatures or equipment being used - I enjoyed this a lot at first however there is far too much of it throughout the book for my taste, I would say the page count could almost be halved if all of it was removed and little would be lost.
- Still an enjoyable and interesting story however with likeable characters
