Superman: Godfall by Talent Caldwell, Michael Layne Turner, Jason Gorder, Joe Kelly, Peter Steigerwald

3.0

A little disjointed and weird, but that could be one of the assets of the thing from some people's perspective. There's a spoiler inherent, so I won't say too much. I enjoyed seeing Michael Turner's art again (RIP, Mr. Turner) and am not sure what I was reading instead when this story unfolded across all of the Superman titles more than 13 years ago. Good, inasmuch as it shakes the Man of Steel out of his status quo to tell an interesting story, but not great because of the twist-that-isn't and the too-rapid coming together of plot elements and boring villain. Lyla's awesome, though, despite getting around in her underwear a lot.
