Gosh, I love a unique thriller.
This hauntingly suspenseful story kept me listening long after I should have moved on to other tasks. It's a riveting workplace thriller that explores racism and privilege. You will be mesmerized.
I recommend this book to fans of The Plot, Ace of Spades, or Lock Every Door.
⚠️ racism, stalking
🎧 The audio for this title was clear and crisp. At times, however, I found the storyline tricky to follow from chapter to chapter in this format. Narrator/perspective shifts are introduced only by different dates at the beginning of new chapters, which can be tricky to follow when listening instead of reading. I definitely still recommend the audio format, but know that this is a story you need to give your full attention to.
