The kindle version needed another round or two of editing. It didn’t distract from the plot, but there were a few instances of simple writing mistakes and wrong name use. I don’t have a physical copy of the book, so I don’t know if it has the same mistakes. Overall the book was entertaining and a great continuation of the first. I wish there was a clearer plot or goal for the book. The goal is mostly a continuation of the one from the first book and is a little too drug out. I think the author does an amazing job with the characters. I genuinely like all the major players. Well, I enjoy them in the way the author probably intends, such as disliking the villains for their behavior. I usually don’t like multiple povs because authors seem to not always fully flesh out each of these characters, but Beck Michaels clearly took care with each of hers. I didn’t have the urge to skip through certain povs like I do in books with multiple ones. And I just love Dyna and Cassiel!
