This book is interesting, but a very slow read. Weiner never met a self-absorption he didn't like. I'll read almost anyone's religious exploration, but ultimately I kept thinking- what if... for one minute... your search for God wasn't about YOU, but about God or your neighbor or the world. There are glimpses of this, but I'm still wondering if the effort to read this book was worth it.
