Absolutely beautiful, devastating, and hopeful story about a group of women in the 1960s who are all, in different ways, going through complicated periods as wives, mothers, and who are all finding their place in the world. I cried so much and yet also felt such triumph. This is a beautiful and necessary story that reminds us just how important reproductive freedom is, and even more so, how dangerous women’s lives are when those rights are taken away. A must read and certainly will be in my top books of the year!
