• fast paced and intriguing
• read really quickly
• hard to keep up with and confusing at times
• unsatisfying ending - could’ve taken so many other routes
• some parts just didn’t add up and were never explained fully
  i.e. why were the kids taken out of school and apparently taken to live somewhere else but at the end it’s implied that flora has custody of them again? and why does she invite beth’s family to visit them on holiday ??? super random
