I was in such a rut before reading this book, nothing was holding my attention. This book broke this dry spell - extremely fast paced, with a cutey little romance that develops very slowly. Never knew I would need a humanoid mushroom main character in my life, but here we are. Highly recommend if you want a book that is 50/50 babygirl main character and devastating world destruction.
