I actually can't feel bad for Jessica Drew. She's not some naïve unworldly female. Before she came with this "I'm all hurt and mad, because I wanted more and you're a bad guy who let me down" act, she should really have taken into account: Clint's modus operandi/history, Clint's way of thinking, if their intentions of having more than a casual fling were reciprocal/mutual.
If no one agreed verbally or otherwise to such a partnership, she has no right to hold the other party responsible. There is no such thing as "sleeping around", if one does not agree to exclusivity. Consent is everything, correct? So she should really grow up and take responsibility for her feelings (not to mention actions). It is not "sleeping around would hurt me", but "I get/feel hurt when you sleep around". Taking responsibility for your own feelings: assertiveness.
So Clint states she means a lot to him, fine. What I said before still stands. You have to clearly state you are serious, especially when someone like Clint is involved. Serious doesn't need to mean marriage, children, mortgages. It means, I am willing to date and get to know you better, as well as willing to allow you a better knowledge of myself, this is not just casual sex; are you willing?
