a slice of life book, but like, in the apocalypse.

this is a dystopian book where an asteroid hits the moon closer to the earth which fucks with the gravitational pull and causes an all around hell. miranda keeps a diary where she chronicles her life and how her and her family survive. i ATE this book up when i was younger and i can certainly see why. miranda's voice is very strong, and the way it changes throughout the book is just great. i also lived how the author showed how all the family loved each other very much, but after bring cooped up with each other for months they started to get snippy. miranda and her mother's relationship also hit a bit to close to home personally. the ending was very abrupt and i found myself wishing there was more. it seemed like the author didn't know how to finish it so she just snipped it off there. that being said it also made sense w
