2.5

How is the rating for this book High on all reading platforms? THIS IS THE MOSY AMATEUR THRILLER I HAVE EVER FUCKING READ.

Let us also talk about how poor the writing is, how easily predictable the plot is (babe that Prologue told me everything I needed to know) and how everything was just dragged when this book could have simply been a 100 page book.

Let’s address some issues that I have:
1. Why did the gardener pretend to be unable to speak English when a woman’s life was at risk- HOW IS THAT OKAY!? You’d rather I die than you to stop pretending to be fucking fake? If Millie was in such danger then why tf did Enzo drag just telling her what’s going on.

2. Let’s talk about Nina Winchester. Her justifying her daughter being a brat is crazy, “she’s just a child” yes but ridiculing an adult is nuts.

3. Nina Winchester going through “so much pain” and then she willingly dragged another woman into the exact same situation that she was in SIMPLY because this woman (aka Millie) is an ex convict so basically Nina’s saying “she’s killed before so I’m sure she’ll survive abuse.” Like- that is so problematic you guys I can’t.

4. Every single character is unlikable because they are all equally disgusting. Millie is an entitled asshole. Nina is selfish as fuck. That kid is a brat. Enzo is stupid. The Rich Husband has lingo equivalent to that of a 14 year old.

I have so much more to say but I won’t waste my energy on this book any longer. The high ratings suck.
