What an absolutely epic conclusion to this series! 

I had such a hard time putting a pause on this read; it felt it was just non-stop action and political machinations, all while amazing lore was being unveiled.

I won’t say too much about the plot, but I will say this series has some of my all-time favorite characters. I mean, go ahead and crown me Queen of the Malta Fan Club, because I loved her from the very beginning, with all her epic brattiness, and I was rewarded with truly one of the best character arcs I’ve ever read. And Kennit, wow, what a complex character. These Liveships have my heart, especially Paragon.

I loved the ending. There was no way I was going to predict what was to happen, but I thought each character’s conclusion was perfect for them and the story.

Audiobook notes: I’ve heard people don’t like the narration, but I quite enjoyed it. I listened to it at 2x speed, so that very well could have made a difference? Just a tip if you’re interested in audio!
