Moral Compass by Danielle Steel

3.0

I feel the sensitive topics in this novel were handled with great care and that each stakeholder in the events of this book were given a fair portrayal. However this is not my favorite of Steel’s.

I haven’t read many of her new titles, my favorite are like Granny Dan and Letters to Nam and mirror image and Jewel. Those all immediately captured me and had me emotional invested in the stakes.

I never felt like I fell in to the story or ever really connected with the characters and I think that has to do with the book focus on the culture around the event and showing each side.

Excellent writing, heavy topic handled well, classic Danielle steel flair but just 3 stars for me.
