This is the first book I've actually finished reading this year. I've given up on so many. This one kept my interest. As most ripple have commented, the murder mystery was so-so. But the back story was well done. So many broken lives... Btw, good reads only has the German title of this book. I read the English translation (the other child) in case you were wondering.
