Nothing in My Heart by Peri Elizabeth Scott

lighthearted slow-paced

2.0

This book was fine, but Beckett didn’t do enough to earn Grace’s forgiveness. He’d say that he was sorry and that he would change, then he would do some nice things but he would continue doing things that she didn’t agree with and she would just let it go. For example, he involved their fathers a few times and she didn’t like it but she said fine and carried on. What was the point of talking about a divorce and wanting things to change when she let him get away with everything?

I didn’t like their fathers at all, and I didn’t like how Beckett and Grace kept talking to them.

The book was too short to really show the characters and how they changed.

This book was fine and their relationship changed a bit but I didn’t see how Beckett changed as after he apologised a few times, Grace faded into the background.
