One Tuesday Morning by Karen Kingsbury

4.0

Jamie and Jake have a wonderful marriage, and Jake is a great father to their daughter Sierra. Eric, however, has sacrificed his marriage and child in favor of financial success. All of them are going to be affected by the events on Tuesday morning.

So far this could be any one of many romantic thrillers, but it's so much more. There is truth, hard but not gory, about a firefighter's work and risks. There is truth about marriage, both where it works and where it fails. There is truth about Jesus. There is truth about the hardships and joys of life, the sacrifices we can choose and the ones we can't, and the sort of trust and peace that can only come through trusting God.
