Did not finish book. Stopped at 31%.

The third person narration involved much more telling than it did showing, which made it really hard to understand any of the characters beyond a surface level. The timeline would jump significantly past moments that were referenced as proof of the couple’s chemistry, but we never actually see those moments, so their relationship seems to come out of no where. Maybe with more background and dialogue the power dynamic between the couple wouldn’t be so uncomfortable? But with how it is currently written there is so little dialogue before she poses in lingerie for their photoshoots and he just starts saying things that seem super predatory. This had a lot of promise, but I’m going to need to put this one down.
