CW/TW at end of review

For a while this book was sitting at 2 stars because I had no idea what was happening and the whole time I kept thinking "why do I care?", then it was at 3 stars for a little but because things did get interesting for a second, but then I read the last page and it went back to 2 stars because I still had no idea wtf was going on. I was disappointed.

For some reason I felt like the synopsis oversold itself and when you actually read the book it doesn't fit in how you expect it to. I wish I loved the characters more, but I don't. They're all kind of boring and sometimes I'd feel like my one brain cell is missing information and it probably was becuase there were points where I didn't even care if I was missing the point becuase this book didn't give me enough reason to care. Whoops.

I wish I could love this, but I do not. No character was able to save the book, and the one character I sort of liked got killed off, so I really didn't care by the end.
