Where it Rains in Colour by Denise Crittendon

Did not finish book. Stopped at 55%.
The first quarter of this book was good. I liked the MC a lot and although the world building was a little sparce I enjoyed the concepts and far future flair that Swazembie has.

Unfortunately, after the world building in the first part, part two introduces the main conflict of the story. We're introduced to another planet and race/sub species of humans where we skip around a handful of different perspectives in a way that felt jarring and broke the flow. The world building starts to break down here too. Both conflicts and resolutions and quickly handwaved in and out of the story and it get hard to follow any of the antagonist characters motivations.
