Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami.

It follows this young man. Toru Watanabe. In the late 60’s Toru is depressed due to the death of a close friend, and the fact he has too many bitches #sufferingfromsuccess. He’s torn between a mutual friend, Naoko whom he’s found a deeper connection with through their shared grief, and this new girl he’s met named Midori who’s is much more outgoing and the like, but she also has her own emotional troubles brewing.

This book is emotionally resonant, and captivating. Sad as all hell at times, but really beautiful and strikes a good chord if you want to see some characters use each other to go through good personal growth.

The book is good you should read it, I don’t have the mental bandwidth to do my usual yap session. 4/5.
