This features an INTENSE co-dependent relationship between two friends, one of whom is experiencing hallucinations/premonitions. The book’s art design is really amazing, and the very short chapters/sections gave me a very different reading pace than I’m used to. But like, while there is romantic obsession here, it is NOT a romance. (The pages near the end are black because it is DARK.) It has a slightly hopeful ending, and a follow up story that I'm going to check out, but think will be an allegory or something.
