A book about rival agents on either side of a multiversal war communicating with each other through letters. That’s all you need to know about it, and best way to read this book is to know nothing else.
The writing is absolutely STUNNING, and I felt like I wasn’t just reading this book, I was wading through imagery, seeing the story as a vast painting with so many details to gradually pick out. I think you can easily tell when a book is written with love and this one as so much love packed into it. I don’t typically reread books but I actually can’t wait to reread this one to experience the beautiful prose again.
I was admittedly a little sceptical about all the hype surrounding this book, but honestly they weren’t wrong. READ IT.
