Literally sobbing as I write this. No matter what country, what conflict, what side you’re on, it is always women who are at the mercy of the brutality of men in wartime. And it is always women’s bodies that are used as weapons and symbols of conquering. There are no exceptions, in the words of our heroine Granny Lee Ok-sun, “they are all the same”. I’m going to throw up.
