Was it just me, or was Murderbot super grumpy this whole book? I mean, it definitely has a right to be grumpy at this point in its adventuring. But at some point I found it a little…overbearing? I’m not sure that’s the word for it, but it’s close. I still love the fuck out of this book. It just felt a little more…gloomy. Also. The fuck was that ending??? I’m sobbing, that wasn’t what I was expecting 😭.
Miki and Murderbot had a not friends but kind of friendlyish grumpy/sunshine thing going on that I really liked. Miki was just the sweetest and most trusting bot in these books so far. I loved that Miki called Murderbot it’s friend even when MB really didn’t it to. It was so sweet, it almost gave me cavities! I’m giving Rogue Protocol a solid four stars.
