The Last Hour Between Worlds by Melissa Caruso
3.0
This book had Groundhog Day and happy death day vibes. I really wanted to like this book, but the characters were a bit flat for me and had very limited development.
The world was so interesting with echo people, relics and worlds with the further you go down into echos the more stranger it gets.
I was hooked from the start with the mysterious clock and our first death, but the middle felt a bit boring and the same thing repeating itself until the final stand, with a strange pacing. At least the chapters were fairly short.
Thankfully even though it’s a first in a series the event of this book was resolved cause I would not be able to stand having to read another.
