The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma

Zero content warnings means no accommodations for readers who may have suffered trauma themselves. Worse, the author clearly prioritizes the pain of soldiers who committed war crimes over their victims.
If you want to learn how CPTSD (complex post-traumatic stress disorder) develops and trauma is store somatically in the body, there are other, better books. It sucks that this book has such a good title.
The author was fired in 2018 from the trauma center he founded in Brookline MA for bullying and creating a toxic environment.
