The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
5.0
Okay, so it’s not my usual kind of book, I defo wouldn’t have picked this up if I hadn’t been influenced by Instagram to do so. But I’m so thankful that I picked it up!
Considering I knew nothing going into the book, it’s truly amazing that the author managed to hold my attention for so long! This book is incredibly easy to pick up, I found myself wanting more.
Evelyn is everything. I want to be her. Her story is beautiful and makes you look at your own life a bit. Considering this isn’t necessarily DRAMA filled like my usual thriller genre, I just had to know more. She captured me.
The LGBTQ+ representation is beautifully woven in throughout. I found myself laughing, getting a bit angry and I nearly shed a tear too by the end of this book.
I genuinely don’t think I can think of anyone that wouldn’t enjoy this book. It’s just got such a warmth about it. Pick it up, you won’t be disappointed.
