a lot of action & incredibly interesting world (inc places and planets, sociopolitical landscape, diverse characters of human-adjecent species, and scifi tech); the main story is intertwined with another main character's past, which reads very pleasantly; there's a lot of emotion in characters and i cried a few times
-
there are very minor mispellings or editing errors; personally i didnt find the last act convincing; sometimes the author doesn't include a character's description or only snippets are present later in the story, which made it a bit harder for me to imagine them, given not all were human
