Each and every one of Amy Daw's books brings a smile to my face, so when I heard that she was writing this story, I couldn't wait to listen to it! And it was so worth the wait! Allie, a Harris Brother's cousin, and is looking for revenge and is going to send her ex a hot video of her conquest. Roan is a rookie soccer player trying to get in good with Tanner, Allie's cousin so their chemistry on the field melds. Who thought their one night stand would be more than just that? Now two years later, Allie has moved to London and is doing publicity for Roan's soccer team...and their chemistry is off the charts. And the secret Allie has been holding is looming over their heads. This story is hot, laugh out loud funny, yet, carries a serious note at times and is the best entertainment you can listen to. Daws has done it again, and we can only hope Freya has the next book!
Narration for this series has always been Will Watt and Charlotte Cole, and they are the Harris brothers. They have returned to voice all the secondary characters in the story, keeping the voices we have come to know and love consistent. Blending these two into the duet narration of Erin Mallon and Aaron Shedlock is genius. Mallon and her incredible voices and amazing comedic timing is the perfect casting for Allie. And who better than Aaron Shedlock to portray a South African soccer player? He is the master of accents and shines with is portrayal of Roan, with complexity and raw sexiness. It's an incredible multi cast performance you do not want to miss!
