The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan

5.0

I think the book was typical of Rick! Quests within quests, beloved characters (LEO), comic relief, and stress, stress, stress. There are many complaints about the ending to the series, but I didn't mind it. In reality (as real as you can get with Greek gods controlling the world), would Gaea's demise have been anything but the length that it was? I'm sure the heroes felt that her hault had taken long enough! Also, for the ending of our story, leaving his heroes with hope is something Rick has always done. We know they'll be okay. Overall, I think the book was written well, and Rick kept composure throughout the anticipated series finale. And come on... How could you have NOT loved it with Nico and Reyna's point of views? They're awesome!
