This book really captured my attention and made it really hard to put down. Ultimately I felt like the legend and the actual crime timeline were a bit too disjointed. It felt like they were going to connect somehow but they didn't in the end which was frustrating. Overall, I loved the pacing and the characterization. I definitely felt creeped out, scared, and anxious with Medina wanted me to feel that way but it wasn't a terrifying horror by any stretch of the imagination.
