Meh.. I am inclined to think a lot of these commandments are overreactions, though he makes some good points. But then there's ' the US has to teach programming in school or China will surpass us' type of comment that makes me trust his opinion just a bit less than I want to.
It reminds me of the feeling you get when watching a michael moore documentary - Its all very shocking and told in a persuasive way that you want tombelieve, but even before you go and check the facts for yourself, there's that taste of sensationalism or media circusry about it. Perhaps I don't entirely fit the demographic. Still, I am inspired to go learn some more programming- if only I could think of something I want to build.
