Cher: The Memoir, Part One by Cher
slow-paced
3.0
i love cher. she is an icon. i can see how she'd need a two part memoir to get into the depth of her life.
this first part dragged in a lot of places. a lot of extra detail was included in each anecdote and i don't think it always translated to readability/interest. there could've been some editing done.
but she goes deep and offers a lot of emotions and context to her life, especially as it relates to her and sonny and her kids, and it ends on quite the cliffhanger.
i listened to the audiobook which was good. cher reads parts of it and so does someone else - she mentions it's because she has dyslexia and reading is difficult for her.
