It Starts with Us felt like a long epilogue. It gave me a warm cozy feeling for the new, blended family.

It Ends With Us (the first of the two) left my heart raw but hopeful. This one left my heart warm and fuzzy. I was more than happy with how IEWU ended, but I’m not upset about getting this sequel at all. It was the book I didn’t know I wanted.

My emotions towards Ryle definitely followed Lily’s throughout the two books, and it was good to feel her energy go towards a healthy relationship with Atlas.
