Wow, I was really surprised by this book. I downloaded it as part of a mass-cheesy romance download from Kindle Unlimited, but was blown away by the depth of the story. I was a little concerned going in about how this would deal with mental health because a lot of romances use the "love cures all" trope and suddenly the H's mental health is so much better just because he's found someone who can love him for him. This book instead challenges this cliche and really takes on mental health head-on. I think what I'm most excited about is that there is a sequel about Kris, who I found so intriguing as a side character in this.
