I love horror and I’ve always been a fan of exorcism movies. Somehow, I had never read The Exorcist.
Blatty brings you in as a reader with amazing description that made me feel like I had never seen the movie before. You know how when you watch the movie first you just imagine it the whole time you read the book? Blatty builds a narrative that created a whole new world for me in this cult classic.
While there’s definitely some explicit components to the book that were a bit gruesome for this reader, I loved this book.
