Six months ago Clementine experienced the worst day of her life; her aunt died. Clementine keeps herself busy and works hard to keep the grief at bay and her heart intact. It works fairly well - until she wakes up one morning and finds a strange man in her apartment. A man she could easily fall for. The problem? He lives seven years in the past.

Clementine inherited her aunt's magical apartment, so she knows of its ability to suddenly move seven years back in time. She still gets shocked when it happens to her for the first time and it takes her a while to realise what has happened. I instantly fall for Iwan; he's the perfect book boyfriend! Cooking is his passion, he's thoughtful and considerate, and he remembers everything Clementine says. He also calls her "Lemon" and it's just so adorable! It takes longer for me to adapt to Clementine, even though she's the narrator of the story. She works at a small publishing company and she likes her routines. Maybe it's because she's aware of the time glitch between them while Iwan isn't that I like him better in the beginning, but Clementine grows on me eventually.

Since this is a romcom it's predictable in many ways, but the chemistry between Lemon and Iwan is so damn good! Personally I'm not interested in food and cooking, but Iwan's passion has even me convinced. And there's something special with a man cooking for you, isn't there? The story also has a moral: do what makes you happy, not what's expected of you.

This was a bookclub choice when we decided to read a romantic comedy, and as usual we had very different opinions. I was the one who appriciated it most - also predictable!
