Ky has lived in the closet to protect his sisters. Noah is still mourning the loss of his boyfriend Rick, blaming himself for things that he shouldn't and living by a one-and-done rule. Of course, when Noah convinces Ky to take part in a Bachelor auction for charity, a makeover is in order for the Texas surgeon.
The sparks flew between the two of them instantly and I could understand Ky's reasoning and fear. Noah's was a little more deep-seated and took the whole book to understand fully, but one you did, it made me like him even more. Of course, the big villain, Ky's step-father, was the epitome of ignorance and homophobia.
Overall, I loved this book and revisiting the characters from the first two was great, as well!
