Female raged the way i needed it to
She may have a switchboard and need to charge up at the end of the day but Annie Bot has truly experienced what it’s like to be a woman in a man’s world.
This study of womanhood is by no means a comfy cosy read, Annie’s rage is raw and relatable, echoing the frustrations of many women. Greer makes it so natural to sympathise for Annie as we observe her isolated life whilst she restlessly struggles to comprehend her experiences.
In the best way possible this felt like a ‘Black Mirror’ episode, not many books make it to my “want to re-read” list but Annie Bot has earned her spot.
