Another “final girl” book in the desperate attempt to find one I actually liked.
I feel so bad that I couldn’t even finish this one. It’s the first book I have allowed myself to DNF this year and I’m struggling with the absolutely wild guilt feelings over it BUT. It didn’t grab me. It felt repetitive, like I’ve read this same book before. I couldn’t get the message it was trying to share. It felt flat and went splat.
First DNF of 2021.
