A Long Time Coming by Meghan Quinn

fast-paced

4.0

Meghan Quinn can do no wrong. I'm not usually one for friends to lovers, but I ate this up. Somehow she can write upwards of 500 page romance novels and there is never a dull moment. With that being said, her books can still be quite repetitive but I still love them.

I love the main characters in this world, but I could not stand Brian and his mother in this book (no surprise), I honestly struggled to read their scenes. I was genuinely getting angry while reading it. I liked Lia and Breker butttt they *might* be my least favourite in the series... They just seemed mildly immature and no can rival JP. Lia's character development though >>

I also kind of missed the 'billionaire romance' aspect of it. The first two books definitely fall into this category, but it's not the same kind of vibe with Breaker.

Now I just feel like I'm complaining about this book, but I honestly really liked it lol. If you are looking for a good rom-com series, READ THIS. And then go read her hockey series ;)
