I read it when I was 13yo, the avid reader middle school time of my life, and it was an incredible experience. The best part is how well the trilogy aged. It talks about family, friendships, government control, the effects of war and much more. It's not a light read for a teen, but at the same time it does bring many heavy topics in a language accessible to a younger audience. When I have the time, definitely gonna re read it.
