The Dead Gigolo Caper by Stella Marie Alden

4.0

Gotta love a couple who celebrates every little success with a little “fun”. Stella Marie Alden brings the sizzle and always keeps it an arm-length away during The Dead Gigolo Caper (2020), the fourth book in the “Suds and Sam” series.

These characters still manage to bring angst to a happy relationship. Alden keeps it real with Suds ongoing battle with PTSD. She does not shy away from the constant battle of dealing with the side effects on the individual or their family. Kudos to Alden for reminding people that war does not just go away, stay in another country, or on a television screen.

The mystery once again is a solid one. I actually did not believe the old lady either (oops slight spoiler there (laugh)). Alden continuously manages to blend more than one mystery out of one and does it with panache.

Do not miss out on this caper as Alden gives a reader a good time.

I received an ARC of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.
