A Brilliant Spring by Kate Smoak

emotional sad

4.0

A Brilliant Spring by Kate Smoak is the final book in the Seasons series. I’m so sad this series is over! This book was told in multiple POV’s by Elissa, Brandt, and Riley.

This book picks up on the cliffhanger Black Winter left off.  Elissa and Brandt’s relationship is struggling. Elissa is dealing with some unexpected changes in her life. Brandt is giving her space but still supporting her. Riley and Rhys’ are still dealing with their pregnancy. Riley has really come into her own, she is being so strong with how Rhys is behaving. We get to see more of Riley’s relationship with her parents and how supportive they of her.

Elissa really comes into her own by the end of the book. I love that we get to watch her relationship grow with her mother. I love Riley and you get to see her become a stronger version of herself. I’m so sad this series is over because I enjoyed it. I was given this book as an ARC this is my very late honest opinion.
