Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon

If you’re looking for an easy, spicy read this is great! I mean, it’s not high brow literature but I identified pretty well with the main protagonist. The veneer of causality that lands the protagonist on an ice planet is solid. I enjoyed the descriptions of the not-Hoth landscape and it was fun to see how the protagonist overcomes communication barriers with the locals. Nice, easy read.

CW: description of sexual assault pretty early on.
