3.5 stars. This sapphic horror/ romance was at times as hot as it was unsettling. While it took about 80% of this already short book to build to the actual horror, every page was filled with an eerie tension that really contributed to the overall tone. The plot was somewhat predictable in terms of where it was headed, but definitely not in how it got there. The twist at the end was great too! This book gives a new meaning to “all consuming love.”
