Manifesto: On Never Giving Up by Bernardine Evaristo

5.0

In under 200 pages Bernardine Evaristo gives a layered and fascinating look into her life. Starting with her childhood, growing up in London and experiencing racism, whilst still developing a strong sense of self and beyond - to her journey to discover herself through acting, performing and writing before eventually becoming the esteemed, published author she is today.
A fast-paced yet thoughtful memoir which captures the imagination and should be a must-read for anyone who is a fan of her works.
