I'm so sorry to all those who love and rave about this book.

I rarely never finish a book and I had to skim through the last 100 pages. The book lost me around 100 pages in when they have continually "get together" and "break up", in quotes because neither one of them are willing to admit their relationship status even though they clearly love each other. I got too frustrated with them, not the good kind either. I wouldn't say this was a bad book but it definitely is not my cup of tea and now I am nervous since I have Sally's newest book, Beautiful World, Where Are You?

I find Connell and Marianne's relationship and chemistry to be lacking. They just talk and think about how they're so comfortable with each other and how they can be their authentic selves with each other. If that were the case, then why are there so much miscommunication? If they had such comfort in one another's presence, then why are they not talking about what they really are feeling? I find it very hard to believe and honestly speaking, I did not find either one of them likeable. Likability in characters are not a must for me to like a book but I just did not think Connell and Marianne's chemistry were there. Sorry?

I have to say though, as much as I did not enjoy this book, I did find the writing extremely addicting and easy to read.
