This has gotten like 150% better than the first book.
During the start of the book I was like, "What The Fudge am I reading?" then after awhile it totally made sense. Jumping from past and present was different from other books wherein dual timelines are used to tell the story. Here it is more like the timelines are sort of parallel to each other.
Anyways... there were lots of question answered but there were additional questions added.
Cliffhanger ending for the win!
Down side : Where is Marguerite? I was hoping for more of her in this book cause she seemed like a strong female character on the first.
